Renewable energy-powered and energy efficient homes and buildings will be shown during FREE open houses and a few select guided tours across Ohio during the first weekend in October. The Ohio Solar Tour encompasses sustainable features beyond solar energy in all corners of the state, highlighting hundreds of solar, wind, biomass, LEED design and energy-saving technologies. Sites will be open during designated hours: Morning (9:00AM-12:00PM), Afternoon (1:00PM-4:00PM), or All Day (9:00AM-4:00PM). more information

will be hosting a series of events to present its Advanced Energy Initiative to the region.  The initiative, created in partnership with The Cleveland Foundation, aims to accelerate growth in Northeast Ohio’s advanced energy industry.  NorTech plans to gather input from the regional meetings to further shape and refine the advanced energy initiative as it continues to scale up and gain momentum.  There will also be an opportunity to meet NorTech’s advanced energy team and network with local business leaders and other like-minded advanced energy professionals in the region.
